Taking a Pause for Mental Health: A Journey into Self-Love and Inner Balance

Hello everyone,

Months have passed since my last check-in in February. A lot has changed, and I’m currently taking time off to focus on my mental health. With the uncertainties and challenges I’m facing, I’m choosing to slow down. As such, I won’t be accepting any private clients until further notice.

This season of my life has led me to reflect deeply on the importance of self-love and self-care. It’s only in recent years that I began to truly understand and practice these concepts. Having been an overachiever in the past, I sometimes still find myself equating my self-worth with my achievements.

However, this phase has stripped away the pursuit of grand accomplishments and is gently guiding me back to the fundamentals of self-love. Through reflection, I’ve come to see that self-love can be practiced in the following ways:

  • Honour your needs
  • Practice unconditional self-acceptance
  • Release self-judgment, guilt, and shame
  • Avoid comparing yourself to others
  • Show yourself compassion, especially during difficult times

Although I’m not taking on clients at the moment, I will continue to create content on my social media and share more regularly through this blog. I hope to resume my services in Q3 2026.
